well this whole xanga thing is a bit overrated...I really held out on how much I liked this thing, but I'm beginning to sell out to MySpace along with pretty much everyone else...this is good for getting some much needed venting time out into words, but MySpace is much more effective in communicating with other people...I don't know why, but it is...actually I think Facebook is much better than both of these, but I guess just leave me a comment to say hey, or just to give your opinion on all the online blog sites...later...

Merry Christmas!!!

I had a boring Christmas this year with rather lame gifts, but what can you ask for when you don't tell anyone what you want... My mom actually did really good on gifts this year, which is an absolute miracle, cause I didn't actually get toys again like I usually get on my birthday from her... My grandmother who usually does the best on gifts didn’t do well at all, but I'm just thankful that I got to spend another Christmas, and another year with her... I went to my dad's house on Christmas Eve... I expect crappy gifts from my dad and my grandmal, it's just what they do... But it kind of got a little emotional with my dad still trying to recover from his recent heart attack, and his cataract surgery... I truly am thankful I got to spend Christmas Eve with him, cause he really doesn't look like he will make it much longer... Anyways I hope all y'all's Christmas' went as well as y'all could've hoped, and I hope y'all got everything you wanted for Christmas and more...

The weeks leading up to Christmas have been great... I've been in Dallas for a while, and If you're wondering where the background image came from, my friend Christian and I rode the DART rail trains to Downtown Dallas and he took pictures with his brand new camera... The pictures are amazing, and if you want to check them out go to his website (http://katana.radicand.org/profile/christianvs) and check them out... The ones he took with the new camera are in the two groups "D-Town," and "Random Pics #2"... The best pictures in my opinion are the skyline pictures and the picture of the "Lounge"...

Anyways, I will be back in Dallas by Tuesday, so if anyone wants to hang out or go do something just give me a call, cause I'll be sitting around bored most of the time I'm down there... and if anyone knows of any good New Years parties, please give me a call and let me know about it... Well I guess that should be about it for now so I will just talk to y'all later....

Well, first semester is about to come to a close...It was a breeze with lots of drama, and some good times to go along with that...hopefully I will begin to settle in to this school as soon as I get back from the break...It's exam time which is my favorite time of the year, not really...I got lucky in the case that I only have 4 finals and I have them spreadout from Monday night through Thursday morning...I will be going down to Dallas on Thursday morning/afternoon, so if ya'll want to hang out call my cell 214-577-6760...otherwise I prolly won't think twice about it...I'm really excited to be going back to Dallas cause Friday, Saturday, and Sunday there is supposed to be freezing rain/freezing drizzle/sleet/snow...so that should make for some good times...the thing that sucked though for us was that the whole storm last week just scooted to the side of us...jsut north of here they got like 4 inches and 15 miles east of here in duncan they got like 3 1/2...and we got light sleet for like 5 mins...I hear all yall in Dallas got out of school for that snow storm yall had, and I just want yall to know that I'm completely jealous of yall for that...ok well it's off to find some food before I go to my night class and try to take this Psychology exam...good luck to everyone else going into exam week, and I hope yall all do wonderful

Well Thanksgiving was a lot of fun...the only thing that wasn't fun was all the times my cousin Matt was annoying...but it was great to see everyone again...we had a bunch of food and ate almost everything cooked (which is rare)...it was probably one of the best hams my grandmother has ever cooked, and the turkey was awesome as usual...after the whole Thanksgiving feast we all went into the game room and looked at slides...yes I said slides (the thing we had before what we know as pictures now days...It was great to see my mom, aunt, and uncles when they were kids...we probably looked at a few hundred slides

Then Black Friday...talk about annoying....I tried to go to Wal-Mart cause they advertised a laptop computer for $388...well they were out, so it wasn't too much disappointment...then to Office Depot where they had one advertised for $344...it was supposed to be a two day sale, but since demand was so high the company that was building the laptops stopped taking orders so it was more like a 5 hour sale

Then we took everyone back to the airport in Oklahoma City...Everyone rode with my uncle but since there wasn't any more room I rode with my aunt and her dog...so much fun...*sarcasm*...that car was a good 3000 miles over the oil change and was making some very very weird noises...so after my uncle dropped everyone off at the airport I switched over to his car with him and my grandmother and we went out to eat...I now have a new favorite restaurant...Texas Roadhouse is awesome for the sheer fact that their steaks are very reasonably priced and the proportions are good sized and they give you a huge bucket of peanuts and you crack the shell eat 'em and throw the shells straight on the floor...I really enjoyed that and probably killed my blood pressure with all the salt on those dang peanuts, but it was fun

Then Saturday...if you know me at all you know where I was on Saturday and it was awesome...Bedlam's 100th meeting lived up to the hype as OU got out to a great early lead with some good offense and stellar defense...other than a 56 yard pass on a great scramble by pena (OSU's quarterback)...OSU only gained like 8 yards in the first half...well most of OSU's points if not all can be directly attributed to horrendous calls by the ref's, but what isn't normal about a ref killing a game for OU this year...I wouldn’t expect anything less...well second and third quarters were a waste as are the usual two quarters of a game OU usually squanders (other than an awesome 84 yard run by Peterson in the third quarter)...other than that 84 yarder Peterson ran a 71 yarder to the house in the fourth quarter two drives after the first one...so that was two one play drives that Peterson ran to the house...so he now has a record for being the only OU running back to amass more than 200 yards in a half...so thanks to Peterson and probably Bomar's best outing of the year, OU trampled the pokes to add another win to the most lopsided in-state rivalry in college football (77-16-7)...I'd say that’s a good record to have as an OU fan...and I guess that really puts it into perspective if you're a poke fan

Well that's about all I'm going to say for now, but I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and I hope you are all full of turkey and all the other festive foods, and hopefully this break will hold us all over till Christmas break which is only a few weeks away...
